Crypto Technical Writer

Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain technical docs, API references, tutorials, and release notes for crypto / Web3 products
• Translate complex blockchain concepts into clear guides for developers and non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with engineering and product to keep documentation accurate and up to date
• Create content for whitepapers, FAQs, help centers, and onboarding flows
• Improve information architecture, tone, and readability across all product docs
• Review UI copy and contribute to consistent product messaging

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a technical writer in crypto, Web3, fintech, or developer tooling
• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, wallets, smart contracts, and DeFi concepts
• Excellent writing, editing, and structuring skills in English
• Ability to work with engineers, read technical specs, and clarify ambiguous details
• Comfortable operating in a remote, fast-moving startup environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, or protocol integrations
• Familiarity with Markdown, Git, and docs-as-code workflows
• Background writing for Solana, Ethereum, or multi-chain ecosystems
• Experience with developer education, blogs, or community content

Rate Range

• $40 – $90 USD / hour, depending on experience and role
